Spooky Mill Tour at The Mission Mill Museum
Back by Popular Demand -And Even Grimmer! The Mission Mill Museum preserves and shares the history of the Thomas Kay Woolen Mill – which produced wool products from 1889 to 1962 and represents one of Oregon’s earliest and strongest industries. The museum staff and volunteers have found even spookier stories about the Thomas Kay Woolen Mill to share as you tour the historic Woolen Mill after dusk. On the tour you’ll learn about past working conditions, accidents that occurred and experience the Mill in the dark! Creepy!
Admission: Members – $3 Non-Members – $5
Tours available on Wednesday and Thursday, October 28th & 29th, at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Halloween at Deepwood
Historic Deepwood Estate 1116 Mission Street SE, Salem
Saturday, October 31, 2:00-4:00 pm.
Historic Deepwood Estate is an 1894 Queen Anne Victorian Home situated on approximately 4 acres of manicured gardens and nature trails set in the heart of Salem near its downtown core. The home is on the National Register of Historic Homes. Parents are invited to bring their little ones to Deepwood to enjoy all the fun of Halloween without the scary stuff. Storytelling, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and more with candy and snacks for each child. Come play in the huge pile of leaves!
